An act of the Colorado Party and another of the Popular Participation Movement (MPP) were called for the same time, the same day and in a square in the Cerrito neighborhood. Both were linked to the referendum on the Urgent Consideration Law (LUC) but with opposite views. Therefore, it was necessary for one of the two to change the place.
To decide who would get the plaza, located in General Flores and Francisco Plá, to carry out the act they decided to toss a coin. The one who won kept the space and the other did the act in another place.
Ultimately, the MPP election was expensive and he emerged victorious from the draw.
Felipe Schipani, a deputy of the Colorado party, was a participant in the scene and then published the moment of the draw on his social networks, commenting “Long live Uruguayan democracy!”.
The @CEDMontevideo and the @ MPP609 they were calling an event for the same day, at the same time and in the same square. We get together and flip a coin. The one who won stayed in the square and the other did the act opposite. Chance favored MPP. Long live Uruguayan democracy! pic.twitter.com/scU7mi5exv

After tossing the coin, they wished each other luck and highlighted the cordiality in which the meeting was resolved. They also proposed to carry out soon a day of debate of the LUC that both the Colorado party committee and the MPP were willing to do.
