“The Christ of Cochabamba is 40 meters, the Virgin of the Socavón is 45, the one in La Paz has to be at least 50 meters. That is the great challenge and the lords of the Great Power have to take their little money out of their piggy bank to make the monument. We have to find a good place where the whole city can see ”, affirmed the authority during the vaccination campaign Give yourself power to dance in the Great Power.

Yesterday, hundreds of fraternal people attended the health conference, among them was Joaquín Santos Quispe, vice president of the Association of Folkloric Ensembles of the Great Power. Regarding the creation of the monument, he confirmed that meetings are organized with the Mayor’s Office to finalize details of this project. “We have set up a work table, yes there is the project and the place has not yet been defined. It has to have a museum, a parking lot… it has to be large and for that we need space ”.

The leader is optimistic on this issue and hopes that it will be completed until the end of 2022.

If materialized, it would be the largest religious monument in Bolivia; As a reference, in Rio de Janeiro the Christ of Corcorvado is 38 meters high.
