The vaccination card with the complete schedule is still a requirement to enter Paraguay. Those who do not have this document must present a Covid test with a negative result.
With the repeal of the health decree, the Migration Directorate updated the requirements for entering the country.
Persons 12 years and older must present the Covid-19 vaccination certificate. The full schedule includes both doses. However, if the four months of the second have already elapsed, the third or also a reinforcement call will be needed, to consider a complete immunization.
Regarding single-dose platforms, the booster dose will be required for a complete vaccination schedule.
THOSE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN VACCINATED
Travelers who do not have the vaccination card must present a negative PCR result up to 72 hours prior to boarding.
THOSE WHO ALREADY HAD COVID
Those who have suffered from Covid up to 90 days prior to entering the country, may enter directly proving this condition with laboratory results or a positive antigen test.
NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC
This neighborhood and commercial regime allows land entry for up to 72 hours and with a margin of 30 kilometers. Beneficiaries of this system must prove that they reside in the border city.
