David Collado: “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t”

“Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t … Don’t let your dreams be killed”, were the words of David Collado, Minister of Tourism and founder of Medios Emprendedores during the closing of the eighth edition of the Entrepreneurs Fair.

The official took the opportunity to motivate young people to continue with their projects, despite the adversities that may arise on the way to its materialization.

During the closing ceremony, headed by Collado, as well as the businessman Manuel Corripio, seven undertakings were recognized. Although there were 42 entrepreneurial projects that competed for the Pepín Corripio Entrepreneur Award.

The winners were: Neros, first place; Todo Fresco, second place and Cacaomae, third place. Meanwhile, the special mentions: Pratsico, Cocotai, Ruta del Casabe Doña Mechy and Milz Chocolat.

The winners obtained a cash prize (RD $: 300 thousand for the second and third places, and RD $: 500 thousand for the first), as well as 1-hour advisory sessions for a year by the prominent businessman José Luis Corripio (Pepín ); Manuel Corripio; Ligia Bonetti, from the SID Group; United Capital Stock Exchange, Banco Popular Dominicano and Jacqueline Mora in economic matters.
