The executive vice president of Grupo Corripio and president of the Grupo de Comunicaciones Corripio, Manuel Corripio Alonso; the general manager of Altice Dominicana, Ana Figueiredo; and the executive president of Banco BHD León, Steven Puig, explained how they took advantage of the pandemic to carry out transformations and be resilient.
Entrepreneurs participated in the First ANEIH Symposium 2021. In the activity, Corripio Alonso highlighted that the pandemic has given openness and collaboration between companies to share their transformation processes. However, he added that the expansion of technology must also go hand in hand with more legislation to protect the human being, who is for whom technology works.
While the executive president of Banco BHD León, Steven Puig, indicated that the future of the bank will be in more efficient processes, the development of digital platforms, agile banking at scale, depth in the role of the financial advisor, fostering alliances and greater growth as universal bench.
The economy is expected to grow 9.5% at the end of this year and that a similar figure will be obtained by the Dominican banks.
Meanwhile, the general manager of Altice Dominicana, Ana Figueiredo, projected the impulse of industry 4.0, since the pandemic has accelerated digital changes and has transformed the way in which people communicate, study and negotiate.
On his side, the president of the National Association of Companies and Industries of Herrera (ANEIH), Noel Ureña Ceballos, highlighted that there has been a marked trend towards the intensification of commercial digitization.
