The average price of rental of a property registered a value of S/ 2,718 per month in March, that is, it rose by 0.5% compared to the previous month, according to a study of the real estate market prepared by Urbania.
Given the economic impact of the pandemic and the rise in prices of various products, many people reevaluate their expenses and move to cheaper areas. But what are these districts?
According to the real estate report, there are districts where you can find rents that do not exceed S/ 2,000 per month.

The downtown area of Los Olivos is positioned as the cheapest with an average rent of S/ 1,550, while traditional Barranco is the most expensive area with an average of S/ 3,782 per month.
Next, the five districts with the lowest and highest average rental price in Lima:

The report also exposes the price of apartments according to their structure, finding one with two rooms and parking between S/ 1,747 per month, and one with three rooms with parking between S/ 2,718 per month.
Likewise, the districts with the highest annual increase in rental prices are shown, among them: Los Olivos (13.3%), San Miguel (13.3%), Santiago de Surco (11.2%), San Isidro (9.6%) and La Molina ( 9.6%).
According to Luciano Barredo, marketing manager of Grupo Navent, owner of Urbania and Adondevivir, “Taking into consideration how rental prices fluctuate is extremely important if you are looking to rent an accessible place, since due to the economic and political situation in which the country finds itself, many changes in prices can be seen.”.
