The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) carried out an extraordinary search at the Los Andes Region Penitentiary Center, located in El Estanquillo, Lagunillas (Mérida)
The search was requested by the Ministry for the Penitentiary Service. A preliminary balance indicates that during the review carried out by the military, 17 packages of marijuana were seized, weighing one hundred and thirty (130) grams and five of cocaine.
The Public Ministry was informed of the procedure.
