The president of France, Emmanuel Macron, today has a 41% approval of his management against the government one week before measuring himself against Marine Le Pen.

The results published by the weekly Le Journal du Dimanche They show that the followers of Le Pen and those of the leader of La France Insumisa, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who finished third in the April 10 elections, were the least satisfied, with 17% and 15%, respectively.

For Macron, having the approval of four out of 10 French people represents good news just a week before the ballot, which will be a repeat of the second round of the 2017 presidential election.

The head of state ended his five years in the executive with more favorable criteria than his predecessors François Hollande (22%) and Nicolas Sarkozy (36%), but behind François Mitterrand (54%) and Jacques Chirac (47%).

The latest polls indicate that 23% of voters would vote for the far-right candidate, 33% for Macron and the rest would abstain.
