Uruguay is in the final hours of the traditional Tourism Week. During the same throughout the 7 days, they have taken place in different national routes totraffic accidents; which in some cases have resulted in fatalities.
Diario La R spoke with the Chief of the Highway Police, Mauricio Tort, who expressed some primary considerations and spoke about the eventual balance that will be drawn after the end of the traditional week.
On the balance for the Tourism Week, in terms of accidents, Tort said that a second wave of the “operational return” is awaited, whose origin will take place on Monday.
He indicated that at this time “the first return is already being felt,” he told Diario La R.
