MIAMI, United States.- The group of cyberactivists La Resistencia Cuba hacked the official website of the University of Guantánamo, in which several messages against Miguel Díaz-Canel and the Havana regime could be seen this Friday.

“We are done for this week,” the group wrote on the twitter social network awarding the operation. The Cuban Resistance is linked to Anonymous, and according to their description on the social network they are “Cuban hackers for human rights, autonomy and self-governance, resistance against tyranny, for the freedom of our people.”

At the beginning of April, Anonymous hacked the website of the Cuban Ministry of Finance and Prices, where they left messages such as “Down with the dictatorship”, “Freedom for political prisoners”, “SOS Cuba” or “Vamos Patria y Vida”. At that time, the minister of the branch, Meisi Bolaños Weiss, went to Twitter to denounce the fact.

“The contents shown do not correspond to the principles, patriotic and revolutionary values of our workers. We ratify our unanimous support for our Party, for our President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and for the Revolution,” the official wrote.

Last February, the twitter profile of Anonymous Cuba Oficial condemned the double standards of the Cuban Government: “… we are not oblivious to what is happening. They will hear from us soon,” they announced.
