In the last few hours, Cipriani stated that he was willing to privatize ASSE’s drug distribution area so that the drugs reach their recipients.
“In the places where the medicine is not arriving, it is because there is some kind of incapacity in the organization that must be corrected,” the ASSE chief remarked in statements to the “Who is who” program on Channel 5.
Given such statements, the Federation of Public Health questioned Cipriani’s proposal.
Indeed, the president of the FFSP, Martín Pereira, said that public problems are addressed with management, with a comprehensive view. “Therefore, we reject the rationale for privatizing ASSE.”
patches
Pereira stated that privatizing services does not solve, “it exacerbates the problem.”
“We are here to find solutions, not these patches that only degrade our work,” he remarked.
On the other hand, the union leader said that the government “adjusted and cut 15% of operating expenses of ASSE and of the entire State.”
“We denounced that this would affect user service. We express full support for the work of the Pharmacy Teams throughout the country,” Pereira stated.
