It should be noted that Rojas was presented at the beginning of April by the Minister of Agriculture, Stephen Valenzuela.
The new national director of Indap is an agricultural engineer from the Catholic University and a Master in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of London, and was appointed to the position by the President, Gabriel Boric.

In her presentation, Rojas pointed out that her central line of action is the quality of life of male and female producers, calling for “working with a gender approach in all policies” and highlighted the importance of associativity because, she said, “agriculture It doesn’t work on an individual level, it works with the articulation of the different actors, so I would like to work a lot on those issues”.
“I hope to learn a lot from each and every one of you, so my policy will be open doors. Every time you have ideas, that you have proposals, let’s get together, let’s talk. I put my heart at the disposal of the institution and I also hope the same of you,” he told his work team in his presentation.
Meanwhile, Minister Valenzuela described Rojas as “a high-level professional, who has also dedicated himself in the last decade to working with Prodesal projects, municipalities and agroecology, which becomes another substantive of the ministry’s work.” .
