Cruzeiro announced this Friday afternoon (14), through official note, that former player Ronaldo Fenômeno and his business group are officially owners and managers of the Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF) do Cruzeiro. The contract to purchase 90% of the mining club’s shares was signed by the star on the 8th, after the business model and measures proposed by Ronaldo to rebuild the mining club were unanimously approved by the Deliberative Council.
“I feel honored to be able to lead the club’s reconstruction process,” Ronaldo said in the official statement. “The fans, the market and others stakeholders You can be sure that we won’t rest until we fully implement an efficient, ethical management model that brings sporting success”, guaranteed the ace, who signed the intention to purchase the shares last December.

Who also celebrated the new stage of Cruzeiro as SAF was Sérgio Santos Rodrigues, president of the club.
“We are very happy to deliver Cruzeiro to Ronaldo and his competent team, who are sure that our football will resume its successful trajectory. According to the note, the complete restructuring of Cruzeiro and the presentation of the club’s new organizational chart should take place in the coming weeks.
