Opponents launch against candidates for Ombudsman linked to the Government and ask to disqualify them

On the whole, the opponents of Creo and CC filed 41 challenges against candidates for Ombudsman, which are analyzed by the Mixed Constitutional Commission. Most of the objections against qualified candidates are directed against those with ties to the government.

EL DEBER published a list of 34 candidates out of 72 qualified, who have ties to the government because they work or worked in the government structure. In total, 11 ministries and three vice ministries sheltered these applicants as officials who presented their documents. In addition, there are those candidates who worked closely with the social movements that support the Government, and there is even an active leader.
