“It is a moment of great happiness for us. In these three days – that he was interned with his partner and son – I governed from the sanatorium. I made my collaborators come here because I wanted to accompany Fabiola, in this that we men have to get used to in sharing the tasks of caring for our children with women,” she said, adding: “In addition, we must accompany them at this time where women are the ones who spend that time.”
Fernández thanked the entire medical team of the Presidency and the health personnel of the Buenos Aires sanatorium, as well as all those who sent him their greetings and concluded: “Welcome, Francisco.”

The birth story
Hours after the birth of his second son last Monday, the President stated in statements to Radio Diez that he had experienced the birth as “a moment of great happiness and very gratifying.”

Regarding the moments before the birth, he said: “We knew that Fabiola was due, we knew that the birth was coming at any moment. The doctors had planned April 20 as the deadline and on Sunday night she told me that she felt like her belly was hard and we called the doctor.
From then on, he recounted: “Everything went very fast” and the birth took place at 1.21 am on Monday.
Envelope of the choice of the name of the baby, the Head of State directly related it to that of Pope Francis: “It is well known that I recognize in him a moral leader of enormous stature.”
That day, the president announced the news through his Instagram account: “Francisco was born!!!, With your mother Fabiola we are immensely happy. Welcome to life!!!”, and published a photo in which you can see the baby foot prints.
“Francisco: he who loves freedom. Today, April 11, at 01:21 a.m. our son was born, whom we waited for and loved so much from the first day. We feel happy and fortunate to receive him surrounded by affection in our Argentina. We appreciate all the good wishes that you have given us in these months, they have accompanied us a lot. Reality surpasses any of them, we live a dream that we longed for a long time and today we embrace with love, “he wrote for his father Fabiola.
