Yesterday, some 49 companies presented proposals in the two tenders carried out by the Social Security Fund (CSS) for the purchase of 129 medicines that are in critical shortage.
The purchase process was carried out through the “online quotation” modality and the interested companies –national and international– presented their proposals in this format.
At the event, some 32 companies presented proposals in 61 of the 129 lines. In this tender, the CSS seeks to buy drugs such as lopinavir, dicloxacillin, pyridoxine, loprazolam, simvastatin, amlodipine, among others.
In the other public act, convened for the purchase of 68 drugs, including complex B, lisinopril, dexamethaxone, among others, 17 companies were interested.
During the presentation of proposals, the CSS authorities informed that a technical team was formed to proceed with the evaluations.
The technical table installed by the Executive Branch to address the lack of medicines met on April 11 and it was reported that on April 18 the names of the suppliers awarded the purchase will be known.
