The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, instructed, this Wednesday, a special plan to recover educational facilities in the country.
In this sense, he pointed out: “I ask the Popular Power, I ask the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the communal councils, that we go to a special plan to recover 100 percent of the facilities of the schools, high schools and universities. from the country. speed up recovery.
The President highlighted that 85 percent of education in Venezuela is public, free and of quality.
He explained that with the pandemic “some facilities that were a little damaged were spoiled more, they were 20 months without people, so we have to move forward, it is a goal: 2022, the recovery of 100 percent of the school facilities, high schools and public universities in the country.
This was indicated by the President during the Great National Mobilization to celebrate 20 years of the recovery of the constitutional thread.
On the other hand, the Head of State stressed that the country is recovering its economy and pointed out the goal for the Barrio Adentro Missions and the Great Venezuela Housing Mission.
Regarding the Great Housing Mission, he pointed out: “We have to meet the goal, we have reached 4 million homes. We have to meet the 2024 goal of 5 million homes for the People”.
Regarding wages, he expressed that “we have to continue recovering wage tables and collective contracts in a sustainable way, we took a sustainable step by controlling inflation.”
The President indicated that a special plan is being worked on for retirees and pensioners. “I am preparing for May 1, a special plan to recover the purchasing power of retirees, retirees, pensioners, pensioners who have suffered so much in these years of economic war, we have great tasks to celebrate working, to celebrate building”, emphasized.
