The two bills being discussed in Congress to allow a new withdrawal of AFP funds will be voted on Monday, April 18 by the Chamber of Deputies, from 3:00 p.m.
Both initiatives were discussed in different commissions, where the difference was made by the Executive’s project -of a limited fifth withdrawal- that was approved yesterday, in general and in particular by the Labor Committee of the Lower House, who joined today, the Finance Commission, who also voted in favour.
While the fifth withdrawal raised by some deputies, was rejected by the Constitution Commissionso it will arrive at the Sala with a negative report.
The constitutional reform of the 7 merged projects of the fifth withdrawal born from the Chamber, need 92 votes in the Chamber to be dispatched, while the Government project must have 78 to continue with its processing.
Parliamentarians do not give up and present new withdrawal projects
However, this day the intention of four new withdrawal projects was announced, for which the Board must now decide whether they are admitted, in the event that the fifth withdrawal is rejected next Monday.
These are projects that aim to withdraw 100% and 10% of the AFPs, which have the deputies as promoters Pamela Jiles, Camila Flores, Felix González, Rubén Oyarzo, René Alinco and Jorge Durán.
