The “Mi Pescadería” fairs take place from Monday 11 to Saturday 16 April, prioritizing the sale of blue fish or dark meat such as bonito, mackerel, horse mackerel, trout and Amazonian fish, species rich in vitamins, proteins, minerals and omega 3. In addition, preserves such as tuna fillet and whole anchovy will be offered.
Along these lines, the head of Produce highlighted the importance of consuming fish at least three times a week, especially those with dark meat, because they are necessary foods in the prevention of anemia, help to enhance the intelligence of children and prevent obesity, high blood pressure, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease.
