A man in charge of supplying ammunition to the Tren del Llano criminal organization was arrested in Zaraza (Guárico) by Cicpc agents, the scientific police reported on their social networks.
The criminal group installed a cell in the aforementioned municipality of Guariqueño from where they charge vaccines to agro-producers in the region, according to testimonies. The subjects send videos to their victims demanding that they contact them. In the recordings they appear carrying long weapons.
In this case, the detainee is identified as Jairo Adrián Medina Guaramata (31), who ran when he saw the police officers until he was finally arrested.
Medina was seized 148 ammunition of various calibers which would be delivered to Carlos Pirela, the head of the Tren del Llano cell installed in Zaraza. Pirela appears on a list of 10 subjects who are requested for his alleged participation in the extortion plan carried out by the Tren del Llano in eastern Guárico.
The detainee was handed over to the 27th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of Guárico state.
