Venezuelan dies after falling from a 17th floor in Chile

A 22-year-old man identified as Jesús David Meleán Bravo died after falling from the 17th floor of a building located in the center of Santiago de Chile.

The young man was a professional model and son of the president of the Municipal Council of Santa Rita, Zulia state, Hugo Bravo.

The Municipal Council of Santa Rita issued a statement lamenting the sensitive death of the young man, who was affectionately known as Chuchi.

According to information from residents of that country, the event occurred on the night of last Thursday, April 7, and was made known through the social networks of Venezuelans in Chile.
Until now, the causes of the incident are unknown and the Chilean authorities are carrying out the rigorous investigations.

Presumably the young man from Santa Rita (Zulia) was going through a severe depression.

Specialists estimate that a person with depression has a risk of suicide 21 times higher than that of the general population and therefore it is necessary to take care of mental health.
