Dollar fell again following the trend of the last three months. The euro also fell

At the close of the day on Tuesday, April 12, the US dollar (USD) in Uruguay closed at an average of US$41.45, showing a decrease of 0.09% compared to $41.49 on Monday.

Averaged over the last week, the USD was up 1.49%, but in the last year it has seen a decline of 3.49%. The maximum average price of the last twelve months took place on January 6, when it was quoted at around $44.75, and from there it began to fall.

In the last thirty days, the minimum in which it was located was on Friday, April 1, when the average price was $41.01, according to data from consultants Morningstar, Refinitiv and ICE Data Services.

the euro fell

The euro also fell and stood this Tuesday at an average of $45.10 towards the end of the day. It crashed from $45.88 at 11:00 GMT to $45.26 five minutes later. It recovered slightly around 13:05 (GMT) but fell back again from then until the end of the day.

On March 12, exactly one month ago, the common currency of the European Union was trading at $46.86, and rose until March 17 to $47.15. From then on until this Tuesday, April 12, it rose and fell without big jumps but always showing a downward trend.
