Three members of the criminal organization El Perú were killed during a confrontation with members of the Rural Command Detachment 62-2 of the Bolivarian National Guard, according to military sources.
The armed confrontation took place in the Valle Verde sector, El Callao (Bolívar) where subjects exchanged shots with the military.
Three individuals known by the aliases of El Ricki, El Topo and El Miguelito were killed in the scuffle.
At the scene of the event, they seized two M-14 grenade-type explosive devices, a 12-gauge shotgun, a 9mm Browning pistol and a .38 revolver.
Recently, the organization El Perú released a video on social networks where they appear around several subjects carrying long weapons.
