The Social Plan of the Presidency announced this Tuesday that it has paid special attention to the vulnerable areas of the sector The victorylocated in the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte, managing to positively impact the lives of more than four thousand families of that community.
Yadira Henriquezdirector of the entity, led an operation to deliver more than 6,000 food rations “house to house” in the Mata Mamón, Santana Reventón and La Ceiba sectors, according to a press release.
“At the same time, the families also received, with open arms, the contributions that through the Hogar Equipado program, made by the Social Plan responding to their other needs”, states the document.
He added that another 125 families were favored in a first stage with the roofing of their homes, which, as the entity explained, remained in complete deterioration, “thanks to the intervention of this State institution they have been able to solve this pressing need.”
Recently, the Social Plan returned to this populous sector to respond to five families who had lost their homes as a result of a fire. That same day, several operations were also arranged throughout this area to deliver three thousand food rations and the same number of liters of milk.
Henríquez maintained that assistance to low-income families is maintained throughout the country and that in the case of the community The victory the goal was to deliver 125 roofed homes in a first stage.

From the beginning of this management, to March 15 of this year, the deliveries in the different sectors of Santo Domingo Norte have represented an investment of more than 50 million pesos.
