The president of the Congressional Economy Commission, Silvia Monteza, indicated that the inclusion of the new bill for the withdrawal of AFP funds by up to 4 ITUs in this afternoon’s plenary session.
Today, the Economy Commission approved by majority the opinion for the withdrawal of up to 4 UIT (S / 18,400) of AFP funds.
Monteza explained that before reaching the Plenary, the signatures of the voting congressmen must be collected in the commission, then the opinion passes to the presidency and from there to the Board of Spokespersons.
“If the board of spokespersons believes it convenient to exonerate from publication, it will be seen in the course of today or tomorrow”he indicated outside Parliament.
Regularly, the opinion has seven days to be published, and then it could be included in the agenda of the Plenary of Congress.
Regarding the initial proposal, which contemplated the withdrawal of 3 UITs, Monteza indicated that it was the decision of the congressmen of the commission to modify the text and extend the withdrawal to 4 UITs.

“We have had very biased and unfavorable opinions for the withdrawal of the 4 UITs, but as president of the commission I did not make a decision. It is the majority who votes. They have opposed it and it has been approved that there be 4 UITs”I note.
“We have to respect the vote of the majority of congressmen who make up the Economy Commission”he pointed out.
