The National Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) carried out in Caracas the progressive activation of telecommunications services to more than 500 families who live in the Villa Zoila community of the Cota 905 sector, in the Santa Rosalía parish of the Libertador municipality.
The beneficiary households belong to the communal councils Unidos Venceremos, Guaicaipuro Unido, Contra Viento y Marea, Nuestro Effort Comunitario, Turismo La Acequia, Las 3 Raíces and the Beneficiary Community, CANTV press release review.
The technical work carried out by the company’s specialized crews included the laying and splicing of cables, adaptations and programming in the transmission media and connectivity tests.
“This action is part of the inclusion, promoted by CANTV, of the population to the new connectivity technologies and the growth of the company”, highlighted Gleiner Peñaloza, manager of CANTV in the Capital Region.
Nuris Quintero, a new user, expressed her gratitude for the installation of the telephone line in her house. “We are happy for the work that the company’s technicians have been doing in our community,” she said.
The attention to new subscribers had the support and accompaniment of the Telecommunications Technical Tables (MTT), which work in this locality of the capital city.
CANTV, attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology, advances throughout the country with programs and plans to guarantee telecommunications services to residential areas and productive sectors.
