Today 358 new cases of COVID were detected in the country, 36 in Cologne

According to information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 3,743 tests were carried out today and 358 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.

Of the 358 new cases, 154 are from Montevideo, 42 from Canelones, 36 from Colonia, 27 from San José, 18 from Cerro Largo, 11 from Maldonado, 10 from Rocha, 9 from Durazno, 9 from Florida, 8 from Tacuarembo, 6 from Lavalleja, 6 from Rivera, 5 from Artigas, 4 from Flores, 4 from Paysandú, 4 from Salto, 2 from Soriano, 2 from Treinta y Tres and 1 from Río Negro.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 6,072,612 tests have been processed and 894,267 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 883,659 have already recovered.

Today, 1 death with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 was recorded in our country (detailed table is attached). So far there are 7,183 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 3,425 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, 32 of them are in critical care centers.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, 20,142 correspond to health personnel. 19,993 of them have already recovered, 119 are suffering from the disease and 30 have died.

To date, all departments register active cases.
