The Minister of Education, Jaime Perczyksaid this Monday that the popular economy “is part of Argentine society and therefore we must attend to it, understand it and teach it,” on the occasion of the start of the new postgraduate course in the subject at the University of Quilmes.

“The popular economy is part of Argentine society and therefore we must attend to it, understand it and teach it (…) for this reason, we continue to build links with national universities to non-traditional training that the popular sectors and those who work in social organizations need, “said the national official.

He added that “we have to ensure that all the knowledge produced by our society reaches the university. We have to study, we have to study ourselves, to become more supportive, more integrated, to build a society in which everyone has a place.”

And he concluded: “We have to achieve a common social and solidarity economy in which there is more and more employment in order to dignify work.”
