More than 1 million votes appeared after precounting legislative elections: Registrar

The National Registrar, Alexander Vega, confirmed that the difference in votes was widened, between the pre-count and scrutiny of legislative elections and inter-party consultationswhich took place in the past March 13 Throughout the national territory.

The president assured that it was not only the 500,000 votes of the Historical Pact, that appeared after the precount. On the contrary, it was about more than a million votes, that is, more than 500,000 from other political parties.

In RCN newsthe public official revealed a report with which he assures that “there was no fraud in Colombia” and revealed the reason for what happened in the pre-count with the great difference of votes.

“It was confirmed that 23,000 forms were poorly completed by the voting juries. In addition, we found that, in 5,109 polling stations, possible fraud was demonstrated, because in addition to filling out the forms in the wrong way, there were cross-outs from the candidates’ votes”, he assured.
