At the time of Pereira’s indictment, last June, the prosecutor revealed that at that time the Minister of Tourism, Germán Cardoso, requested certain actions at the police level, particular requests, which the coordinator carried out.

“It is denoted that they had a friendship relationship and that he asked him to carry out certain procedures. We understand that the coordinator skipped all the procedures that he had to carry out and used the police machinery in those requests, ”he said.
