Prosecutor's Office asks to send three other members of Bogotá's 'First Line' to prison

The prosecutor assured that the evidence collected links this group in at least five serious events of violence, vandalism and attacks against the Public Force and citizens in the framework of the protests carried out between May and September of this year in sectors such as the towns of Suba and Engativá.

Among the most relevant cases, The Prosecutor’s Office attributed the events recorded on July 20 at the height of Calle 145 in the town of Suba where they staged a violent confrontation with members of the Public Force who tried to control the excesses registered in the area.

According to the delegate of the investigating body, several of those captured reached the point of attack police officers with Molotov cocktails and assaulting some of the officers on the floor, causing them considerable injuries.

In another event, the captured they destroyed and vandalized a bus of the Integrated Transportation System (SITP).

The investigators warned that the members of La Primera Línea also They violently attacked the facilities of the Los Héroes Shopping Center in Bogotá and in an attempt to prevent this action, they threatened the guards of the place with death.
