The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) has destroyed seven clandestine airstrips on the cross-border axis in its fight against the Armed Terrorist Drug Traffickers of Colombia (Tancol), informed the strategic operational commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez.
«FANB in the frontal fight against the TANCOLs dealing hard blows to the structures. In the last 72 hours it has neutralized 2 aircraft, disabled 7 runways and incinerated numerous caches in the brush with fuel”, he said via Twitter.
In another message, he published a video in which members of the FANB detonate Tancol explosives installed on some land, and destroy “fuel deposits found in the brush”, used by “Colombian drug traffickers on unauthorized tracks to try to get their products with infiltration of illegal airplanes».
«FANB destroying Tancol invaders: aircraft, runways, fuel, drugs, explosives. Outside of Venezuela, this is not the land of drug addicts. We will enforce our sovereignty,” he added.
For months, the FANB has intensified combat efforts against TANCOL groups in border states.
