BOSTON, USA.- The vice-consul in charge of business of the consulate of the Dominican Republic in Boston, Massachusetts, Luis Gustavo Estrella, welcomed the participation of the country’s coffee producers in the “Specialty Coffee Expo 2022” held in this city from April 8 to 10, because he said it helps promote this important product abroad.

Estrella explained that it is an international specialized coffee fair, which serves for Dominican producers to exhibit their different varieties of coffee, “so that abroad the quality and flavor of what we produce in our lands can be known.”

At the inauguration of the stand of the Dominican Republic, the vice-consul and charge d’affaires of the Quisqueyan consulate in Boston said that on behalf of the government of President Luis Abinader “and from our consulate, we welcome all the producers of our country to this beautiful city and to this important fair.”

“It is an honor to have here coffee exporters like you, who represent the Dominican coffee sector,” said the consular official.

He also welcomed the delegation from the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana), Gilfie de la Cruz, Raiza Rodríguez and its head Biviana Riveiro “who is showing incredible support for Dominican exports, which organized this beautiful call and everything that entails the support to this fair”.

“The management of Biviana Riveiro and her team at ProDominicana, following the guidelines of President Abinader, are marking a before and after for Dominican exporters, who can already say that they have the full support of the government to help them meet their goals. in matters of export.

“We hope that we can close many deals for the Dominican coffee industry,” said Luis Gustavo Estrella.

He said that the participants in the fair will have the opportunity to see the diversity of coffee production in the Dominican Republic.

He recalled that the “Specialty Coffee Expo” brings together exporters, coffee connoisseurs and decision makers from companies and institutions dedicated to the sector coffee.
