Two officials from the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (Cicpc) were arrested for their alleged links to the criminal organization founded by José Antonio Márquez Morales (El Caracas), which operates in Zulia, committing extortion.
The detainees are registered as Elimenes Alfredo Gil Infante (36) and Carlos Jesús Colina Colina (33).
These agents were in charge of transferring and protecting firearms and explosive devices used by El Caracas to commit extortion against Zulian merchants, according to the Cicpc report.
Three cell phones were seized from the detainees where the intense communication with alias El Caracas is observed.
