Caixa Econômica Federal opens, this Saturday, nine units of the bank. There will be four agencies specialized in agribusiness for rural producers in Toledo (PR), Cascavel (PR), Uruguaiana (RS) and Canarana (MT) and another five service agencies, with new and more modern facilities, which will be located in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiás and Mato Grosso.
The action is part of Caixa’s expansion plan, which will deliver 268 new units in the coming months, 100 of which are exclusively for agribusiness. This segment has been prioritized by the public bank, which expanded its loan portfolio to R$ 40 billion in 2022. By the middle of the year, Caixa’s goal is to become the second Brazilian bank in agricultural credit, behind only Banco do Brasil, which is the main operator of Plano Safra. Another goal of the bank is to have at least one unit in municipalities with more than 40 thousand inhabitants.
The new agro units are located at the addresses:
▪ Agro Unit Toledo (PR): with an area of 100m², located at Avenida Parigot de Souza, nº 2943, Centro;
▪ Cascavel agro unit (PR): with an area of 100m², it is located at Avenida Tancredo Neves, nº 1132, Centro;
▪ Agricultural unit Uruguaiana (RS): with an area of 148m², located at Rua Sete de Setembro, nº 2057, Centro;
▪ Agro unit Canarana (MT): with an area of 130m², located at Rua Miraguai, nº 91B, Centro.
According to Caixa, all new units focused on agribusiness will work from 10 am to 3 pm, on working days. Full service of the institution’s product and service portfolio will be available to customers.
The agencies also provide accessibility adjustments for people with disabilities and reduced mobility. Also according to the cashier, the units are not equipped with cash and do not carry out operations with cash.
The new service units are located at the following addresses:
▪ SP Market Branch: Av. Nações Unidas, 22,351, Jurubatuba, is open from 10 am to 4 pm, with 17 employees, 5 self-service terminals and 4 cashiers;
▪ Descalvado Branch (SP): Av. Guerino Osvaldo, 400, Centro, Descalvado, is open from 10 am to 3 pm, with 9 employees, 7 self-service terminals and 2 cashiers;
▪ JT Rio de Janeiro Branch: Rua Lavradio, 98, Centro, opening hours from 10 am to 4 pm, with 30 employees, 3 self-service terminals and 7 teller counters;
▪ Goianápolis Branch: Rua José Caetano Borges, 267, Av. João Maximiano de Souza, Centro, has opening hours from 11 am to 4 pm, with 7 employees, 5 self-service terminals and 2 cashiers;
▪ Mirassol D’oeste Branch: located at Rua Antônio Martins da Costa, 426, Centro, it operates from 9 am to 2 pm, with 9 employees, 6 self-service terminals and 2 cashiers.
