The president of wide front, Fernando Pereira, made a publication in which he illustrated the “salary evolution” between the years 2000 and 2022. The publication of the former union leader was accompanied by some considerations from the current president of the Broad Front. He wondered “Who watches the police?” He immediately added that “protecting the police is giving them adequate pay and restraint at every moment that is needed.”
He went on to add that “the graph shows that during the 15 years of the Broad Front government, wages grew.” This “without counting other benefits such as night time.” In relation to what was published, he argued that “The Colorado Party” is “for the underground and the current government has fallen two years in a row,” said Fernando Pereira.
The National Institute of Statistics reported in its latest report that unemployment in February reached 7.3%, representing 131,400 people without work. With respect to the month of January, a decrease of 0.1% is observed, being 7.5% in Montevideo and 7.2% in the interior.
