A recognition for his professional career and performance in the midst of the pandemic received the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre Mejía, by the Municipal Council of La Villa de Los Santos.
“Because of his inspired career and the courage with which he has led a work team that has safeguarded the balance of the life of the Panamanian nation by becoming a hero of the Nation,” highlights the plaque presented to the head of Minsa.
The minister thanked the distinction and congratulated the authorities and people of Santeño for the importance and belligerence that they have given to the 200 years of the First Cry of Independence.
He also stressed that the gradual progress against Covid-19 that has allowed the development of activities under biosecurity measures has been thanks to the social discipline demonstrated by the population.
“I feel extremely horrendous by the invitation that they make me to accompany them and God allow us next year to celebrate this date as we all wish,” he said.
