Maduro: The multipolar and multicentric world is not for anyone

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, asserted this Thursday that although the current world is in dispute over two opposing models, the “pluripolar and multicentric” world is not for anyone.

“In one way or another it will be defined, from the intense dispute that exists today, from the intense battle that is taking place today. With a Bolivarian strategic vision, I can tell you with the faith instilled in our commander Hugo Chávez, with a clear vision, that the development of the multipolar and multicentric world is not stopped by anyone”, he stated from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, where he led a working day.

In his opinion, the dispute is caused by a unipolar model that the United States wants to impose, and another by a model of cooperation, respect and equality between peoples such as the one proposed by “Bolivarian geopolitics.”

“The multipolar and multicentric world is not stopped by anyone and the tragic dreams of those who want to impose a ruling on the world will remain in the ashes,” he emphasized.

Battle of Bombona

In his speech, where he announced the delivery of the four million house from the Great Housing Mission Venezuela (GMVV), the head of state commemorated the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Bomboná, which he described as the “first great victory of the Campaign of the South of our Liberator Simón Bolívar».

He asserted that although the Battle of Bomboná was bloody, Bolívar had a “correct and strategic vision” and the will to “win, to advance over difficulties.”

«One’s will depends to a large extent on the strategic vision, on the conscience, on being individual, historical, on the role that the peoples have to play, and in the 21st century we have claimed in practice, in doing, the will to win”, reflected the president.

For this reason, he highlighted the importance of this battle in the struggle for the independence of America “and in this case of the great Colombian project.”

Maduro also announced that on April 19 six new chapters of the series “Carabobo, Caminos de Libertad” will be released, which recalls the most important events of the Battle of Carabobo, as part of the independence struggle.

The premiere will be held nationally and internationally for this second season of the series directed by Luís Alberto Lamata.

“Extraordinary work, worthy of great national and international awards (…) and now let the wonderful sequences continue,” said the president in the middle of the day, where a fragment about the series was broadcast.

The series brings together more than 500 men and women to bring to life Venezuela’s historical heroes, in a production that employed composers, musicians and designers, a post-production team and special effects.
