WATCH THE AUDIENCE
During the hearing, Judge Chuyo Zavaleta indicated that the session began 45 minutes late due to a connection problem, and also announced that they would be held in successive sessions due to lack of time.
Bruno Pachero’s defense intervened and requested that the arrest warrant be lifted against the former secretary of the Palace because the preliminary detention measure for 10 days would have expired. Next, Luis Pasapera’s lawyer indicated that the pages of the request had just arrived, therefore they asked that the session be postponed and that they be granted additional time to prepare their defense. This request was supported by all the lawyers of those under investigation: Vásquez Castillo, Valdivia Malpartida, Villaverde, Bruno Pacheco, etc.
The judge accepted the request “by virtue of guaranteeing the defense of those involved,” he said during the virtual session. The session was rescheduled for tomorrow at 5:00 pm.
