The Barranquilla striker now has someone to leave his legacy to.
Colombia News.
Barranquilla forward Teófilo Gutiérrez at the service of Deportivo Cali, would be announcing his retirement from sports activity.
This was hinted at in a recent publication that was uploaded to his Instagram profile with the following message: “I think the time has come, I’ll pass you the ball, my son, I love you football, thank you very much.”
This post perplexed his more than 1.5 million followers on said social network, who do not agree that their idol is retiring so soon: “He still has a lot of football to give …”, some say. Although the idea of ’Don Teo’ is not unreasonable since the Atlantic footballer is 36 years old, a ripe age to play this sport but with diminished physical conditions.
