Professor Gareca gives Professor Castillo a “pull on the ears”

The coach of the Peruvian national team, Professor – manager of the few joys that our country has received in recent days – could not avoid referring to the political and social crisis that overwhelms our country, caused by the incapacity of the president and with a forceful request that “God enlighten politicians”, he called on the Government to find solutions.

SIGHT: Loud and clear: Ricardo Gareca spoke about the lack of a sports policy in Peru

The Argentine strategist gave a press conference yesterday, but appealing to his leadership, he wanted to support and show solidarity with the Peruvian people. For this reason, he began by referring to the carrier strike and the political decisions that have triggered the crisis.

“I want to send you a big hug, I am very sorry for everything that is going through. The important thing is to be united more than ever as a country, “he said sadly.

Later, Gareca emphasized that he did not usually make political statements, but that he was surprised that Peru is “abandoned” by the authorities. And in clear reference to the absurd curfew on Tuesday, he demanded that they “let the population work”. “The only thing the people want is to work, to be given the opportunity to grow… to young people, to people, to those who go out looking for work every day. When there is more than 60% informality, you have to go to work”, he commented.

SOLUTIONS

And after giving a series of sports announcements, Gareca closed the conference thus: “May God enlighten the politicians so that they find a solution, so that the people stop suffering from the problems they are suffering and that, once and for all, the country can be prosecuted in the well-being of the entire population”, he sentenced.

KEEP IN MIND

– Gareca referred to the mandatory social immobilization order issued by President Pedro Castillo for last Tuesday.

– He pointed out the sporting consequences that this decision brought, since it directly affected the Sporting Cristal vs. Flamengo, which was finally played.
