Corregimientos with the highest incidence of Covid-19 are in the capital district


There are 2,000 active cases, of which 1,924 are in home isolation and 76 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 1,909 at home and 15 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 69 in rooms and 7 in the ICU.

This afternoon the Ministry of Health reported that the districts with the highest incidence of positive cases of Covid-19 are San Francisco with 18, Juan Díaz with 13 and Bella Vista with the same number. All in the capital district.

This information was released in the report of the Department of Epidemiology where they detail that today 253 new cases were recorded and no deaths were reported, keeping the accumulated number of deaths at 8,172 for a lethality of 1.1%, one of the lowest in the region. .

In total, Panama reports 765,930 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19, of which 755,758 people have recovered. 6,250 tests were applied for a positivity of 4%.
