Craft, cultural, agricultural and commercial fairs with inns, as well as dance events, discos, live music events and cantaderas, may be held as of the date in compliance with biosecurity measures and current regulations.

This after President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen and the Minister of Health in charge Ivette Berrío, signed Executive Decree No. 44 of this 2022, for the realization of these commercial events.

The decree establishes that the QR code or vaccination card with a complete scheme must be presented at the entrances of these events and comply with biosecurity measures, such as the use of masks, frequent hand hygiene and distancing.

Parades of carts, allegorical cars, bands and the like with delegations limited to 50 people, who must comply with the due distance between one delegation and another, keeping self-care measures such as the use of masks etc. are allowed.

In its Article 3, the decree also states that all these activities must comply with the provisions of Executive Decree No. 852 of September 2021, which establishes the capacity allowed for crowded activities and Executive Decree 37 of 2020 on the correct use of mask in open spaces.

The Minsa, together with the security forces, will ensure compliance with the established measures.
