Commitment 89 of the 100 that López Obrador made on the afternoon of December 1, 2018, after taking office as President of the Republic, refers to the Ayotzinapa case.
“The disappearance of the young people from Ayotzinapa will be thoroughly investigated; the truth will be known and those responsible will be punished,” he said.
The president said that if another political party had reached the Presidency of the Republic there would have been a shelving in the Ayotzinapa case, but with his administration it is a matter that will soon be clarified.
“As people voted for a transformation, this case and others are going to be clarified, and yes, it is not being seen in isolation, it is knowing the mobiles, knowing who participated, why they lied, revealing a version that does not correspond to what happened,” said the federal president.
