The Blanco deputy, Pedro Jisdonian, took over as coordinator of the bench of Deputies of the National Party for this year 2022. After the appointment, the legislator highlighted the importance of assuming this responsibility in this particular year, considered a turning point, taking into account the exit of the pandemic. “It is a double responsibility because, on the one hand, it is the party that is in government, and at the same time, we, as part of the sector, have a greater responsibility to be able to advance on a lot of issues than perhaps due to the pandemic and the referendum. they could not be done as we had planned, ”said the deputy. According to him, he said, the idea is to continue in the line and the imprint of the management that the Government has been carrying out, which according to Jisdonian, in the case of the pandemic “was very successful, and it was also in the referendum ”. And he added that they will seek to continue with what was proposed in the government program. Regarding his role, he announced that he will have a direct relationship with the presidency of the Republic since he comes from the Aire Fresco group, the same wing of the president and the secretary of the presidency. In this sense, he explained that from Parliament he will try to be the link between the Legislative Power and the Executive so that there is optimal communication “and ensure that the country has the changes it needs, which is what the people voted for us.”
The objective, then, is for the bench to start working on the issues in coordination with the Executive. Jisdonian is 38 years old, is a lawyer and has been a member of the National Party since he was 16 years old. In this legislature, he took office as a titular deputy for the 404 list for the period 2020-2024. In Parliament, he has highlighted his work on issues of work, sports and disability.
