The bench of People’s Action announced this Tuesday that it will present a motion of interpellation against the president of the Council of Ministers, Hannibal Torresso that he attends the chamber to explain the foundations of the supreme decree with which the curfew was ordered from 2:00 am to 11:59 pm, a measure that was later rescinded by Pedro Castillo.
“We have presented a motion of interpellation as a bench for the President of the Council of Ministers to go to the Plenary (…) so that he not only bases the conditions and justifications of this supreme immobilization decree, but that we want it and we need to know which It is going to be the monitoring mechanism so that the agreements adopted in the work tables that have been signed in Junín and that are going to materialize in agreements are met, ”said spokesman Elvis Vergara during the meeting of representatives of the Executive with parliamentarians.
According to a statement from the bench of the lampa, social immobilization is “a repressive, disproportionate and arbitrary measure, which will cause the economic crisis to worsen even more.”

Popular Action asks the Executive to attend to demands
In the aforementioned statement, the Popular Action bench expressed its support for the demands of the transport and agricultural sectors, which since last week have accepted an indefinite strike.
“We demand that the Government adopt immediate measures to comply with all the agreements. We regret the deaths that occurred during the strike and extend our condolences to the families. Likewise, we demand a detailed report from the Ministry of the Interior, where the state of health of the more than 200 injured as a result of the strike must also be recorded,” the text reads.
