As if for him the investigations he is object of were a game, the suspended director of INPOSDOM Adán Peguero said yesterday that he felt “excellently well” after being questioned for about two hours in the National District Court of Appeal.
“They have turned me into a monster with seven heads, but everything will be clarified,” he said when approached by journalists about the allegations of corruption that forced President Luis Abinader to suspend him from office, in response to his request for a license for three months while the authorities did the investigations.
Regarding this decision, President Peguero hesitated before answering that “this is within the powers of the President of the Republic.”
Regarding the questioning that the attorney general of the Court of Appeal José del Carmen Sepúlveda gave him yesterday related to the public criminal action that the Ombudsman filed against him, Peguero said that in the next few days he will meet with him “in case there is some kind of problem or whatever, in that meeting it is corrected ”.
The Ombudsman Pablo Ulloa accuses him of refusing to supply documentation of canceled Inposdom employees.
