The President Pedro Castillo attended the inauguration of the new environments of the educational infrastructure of the PRITE Canto Grande institution on the morning of April 4, where he was accompanied by his prime minister, Hannibal Torresand the head of the Minedu, Rosendo Serna.
The Head of State made this visit in a context of crisis for the Government, due to the fact that different regions have been complying with a strike of carriers for the rise in fuel prices and they demand to establish a dialogue table with the Executive in order to solve this conflict.

In the place, the president asked to be “let him work” and assured that his government seeks to attend to the rights of people. Likewise, he summoned the powers of the State to contribute to “having a more inclusive country.”
“For many years this country has been led by great political experts and great authorities. I ask the country and the Peruvians to let us work. Of the 200 years of republican life, give a teacher the opportunity for five years”, declared Castillo Terrones.
So far, the head of state has not moved to Huancayo, one of the areas where the conflict has intensified and acts of vandalism and looting have been seen. In fact, the demonstrators of this same city demanded the presence of the president.
“We want the presence of the president because he has offended the people saying that we are lazy, delinquent and paid. It is not so, gentlemen. The town is not paid, the town is rising because he is abusing. Now he is in San Martín, why doesn’t he come to Huancayo?”, pointed out a protester.
