Forest Firefighters, Civil Protection, Park Rangers, Min Ecosocialismo and the FANB participate in the extinction work.
The Forest Firefighters Risk Management System, Civil Protection, Park Rangers, the Ministry of Ecosocialism and the Bolivarian National Armed Force remain alert to the fire that occurred this Sunday afternoon in the Waraira Repano National Park, as reported by the Minister of the Interior and Justice, Remigio Ceballos.
“The Risk Management System Forest Firefighters, Civil Protection, Park Rangers, Min Ecosocialismo and the FANB, continue to fight the fire until its total extinction without rest, we maintain an increase in the foot of force for extinction work,” he emphasized this Sunday, in hours of the night, Ceballos through his account on the social network Twitter.
According to Civil Protection, the fire occurred “at 5:23 p.m. in the Waraira Repano National Park, at the height of the Los Chorros Bridge, with a direction of spread to the Cachimbo abutment.”
To carry out the extinction of this fire a crew of 35 men moved to the place together with the teams of Forest Firefighters, Civil Protection, Park Rangers, Voluntary Groups.
For his part, the Minister of Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca, indicated that the office he presides over, along with park rangers, Civil Protection, Forest Firefighters and the FANB remain deployed for the total extinction of the strong fire in the Waraira Repano.
