The Santa Fe government launched a broad moratorium, which will be in force until September 30, aimed at taxpayers who have carried out constructions without having declared them before the province’s Cadastre and Territorial Information Service, official spokespersons reported today.
The moratorium reaches owners who have undeclared constructions and establishes benefits for those who spontaneously present themselves to make the declaration.
The declaration of unregistered constructions will not have tax effects for tax periods prior to 2020.
On the contrary, the spontaneous non-presentation within the framework of the moratorium implies that the Cadastre Service “continues with the construction detection program, incorporating them ex officio with the current tax incidences and penalties,” the spokespersons indicated.
For the presentation of the declarations, Cadastre has offices in the cities of Santa Fe, Rosario, Reconquista and Venado Tuerto, while in the other localities the taxpayers must go to the municipality or commune where the property is located.
